Mike McConnell

Chairman of the Advisory Board

Mike McConnell is former Vice Chairman of the International Consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton, where his primary roles included serving on the firm’s Leadership Team and leading the firm’s intelligence and cyber security business. Upon being asked by President George W. Bush in 2007 to become the second Director of National Intelligence (DNI), he left Booz Allen and served as the DNI, a position of cabinet rank, and a member of the White House National Security Council for two years under Presidents Bush and Obama. As the DNI he managed the expansive national Intelligence Community – an organization of over 100,000 people, and an annual global enterprise budget of over $50B. As a Cabinet Rank Officer and member of the National Security Council, he had extensive interactions with the White House, the President’s Cabinet, Congress, international leaders, and the US business community. While in government, Mr. McConnell was successful in persuading Presidents Bush and Obama and the Congress to invest an additional $17B in a strategic cyber security initiative to improve protection of the nation’s critical infrastructures. In 2009, Mr. McConnell returned to Booz Allen as an executive vice president to lead the firm’s Intelligence business. In 2011 he was elevated to the position as Vice Chairman of the firm. Mr. McConnell retired from Booz Allen in July 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Executive Advisor.



Arthur Money

Since leaving the Pentagon in April 2001, Mr. Money has become a member and Chairman of various USG Advisory Boards, Panels, and Commissions; also serves as a member of Board of Directors of several US Public and Private Companies and as a member of several US Company Advisory Boards.

The Honorable Arthur L. Money became the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (ASD C3I) on 5 October 1999 until 7 April 2001. Prior to his Senate confirmation as the ASD C3I, Mr. Money served as the Senior Civilian Official, Office of the ASD C3I, from February 1998 to October 1999. He also served as the Department of Defense (DOD) Chief Information Officer (CIO) from February 1998 to April 2001. Mr. Money served as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Research, Development, and Acquisition (also a Senate-confirmed position), and as CIO of the Air Force from January 1996 to February 1998.

Prior to the USG duties, he was President of ESL Inc., a subsidiary of TRW from January 1990 to December 1994, prior to its consolidation with TRW's Avionics and Surveillance Group. Mr. Money then became Vice President and Deputy General Manager for the TRW Avionics and Surveillance Group (January 1995 to January 1996).



Bob Rose

Bob Rose

Bob Rose is a recognized expert providing the U.S. government and companies strategic counseling and governance on a full array of cyber-related issues at the nexus of technology, national security, law enforcement and privacy. Bob is Founder and President of Robert N. Rose Consulting LLC and currently serves in various advisory positions in the areas of national security, cyber and homeland security. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the Chairman and as an Advisory Board member of BlockID. Bob is also a member of Securonix’s Advisory Board. He is a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Advisory Council. Additional corporate and non-profit advisory board service includes CrowdStrike Services, Plurilock, SquirrelWerkz, The Chertoff Group, the Aspen Institute Homeland Security Group, the State of Florida Center for Cybersecurity, the Open Commons Consortium at the University of Chicago and the George Washington University Center for Cyber and Homeland Security.

Bob previously served as a senior advisor to the Chairman of Bridgewater Associates, and received appointments to the National Security Agency’s Cyber Awareness and Response Panel, the Department of State’s International Security Advisory Board, the National Counterterrorism Center’s (NCTC) Advisory Board, and the Director of National Intelligence’s Financial Sector Advisory Board. Bob has received numerous honors and awards, including: a presidential appointment to the J. William Fulbright Board of Foreign Scholarship, a fellowship with the Wexner Heritage Foundation, the recipient of the U.S. Secret Service’s “Outstanding Dedication and Contributions” award and the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boys Scouts’ Distinguished Citizen Award.

Mark Clancy has been an executive in cybersecurity for the past 20 Years. He has held several executive roles at several financial institutions including DTCC and Citigroup. Most recently he was the CEO of Soltra Solutions and serves as the Vice Chairman of FS-ISAC.



Ramin Safai

Ramin Safai

Ramin Safai is the first Chief Information Security Officer at the Jefferies & Company. As CISO, Safal is responsible for Jefferies global cyber security and IT risk management programs. Prior to joining Jefferies, he was Americas CISO at Barclays and had global responsibilities for rollout of application security and identity management programs. For the past 15 years he has worked as an Information Security officer at large banks including: Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and Barclays.



Patrick Gorman

Patrick Gorman

Patrick Gorman was the CEO of CYBRIQ Solutions. With 30 years of experience, Gorman has worked in multiple capacities in technology, risk and cybersecurity. Gorman recently served as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Bridgewater Associates where he oversaw cyber, physical, and staff security for the world's largest hedge fund. Mr. Gorman was the Senior Vice President and global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he led security policy, technology, management and operations. He honed his expertise at Booz Allen Hamilton as Senior Executive Advisor of Cybersecurity (2009–2011), responsible for strategic planning, business development, capability development, marketing and capture management for firm’s cyber-portfolio. His rich background stems from holding the position as Asst. Director of National Intelligence and Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Experienced as both business strategist and P&L owner with the pragmatic know how to lead execution and deliver results. With one child out of college, one in college and one starting the application process, he considers himself old enough to know what he needs to do to grow a business and young enough to have the energy and enthusiasm to implement it.
